Description

The Tobago is a 900mm vertical LED wall light with a slender gold-finished aluminium frame and an integrated 9W LED casting 760 lumens of 3000K warm white light through a continuous linear diffuser. The fitting measures 55mm wide and projects 103mm from the wall, giving it a streamlined profile that sits comfortably on both feature walls and narrow hallways.

Designed for corridors, staircases, bedroom accent walls and either side of mirrors, the Tobago provides wash light along the wall surface rather than direct downlight. The 110° beam angle spreads the light evenly across the vertical plane, reducing harsh shadows and creating a soft glow that works as secondary or ambient lighting. The non-dimmable LED is rated for 220-240V mains and draws 9W, replacing traditional 40-50W halogen wall lights with a fraction of the energy consumption.

The gold finish is a satin-brushed tone rather than high-polish, so it reflects light softly without the glare of polished brass or chrome. The 900mm height makes the fitting tall enough to frame a doorway when used in pairs, or to provide vertical accent lighting beside a console table or artwork. At 0.9kg the fitting is light enough to mount on plasterboard with appropriate fixings, and the integrated LED removes the need for ongoing bulb replacement.

The Tobago is made in Spain, where it's part of a wider architectural lighting range focused on linear LED forms. The gold variant pairs well with warm-toned interiors, walnut or oak furniture, and spaces that use brass or bronze hardware. The 3-year warranty covers the LED module and driver.

Is the Tobago dimmable?

No. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and operates at full 760lm output when switched on. If dimming is needed, consider pairing the fitting with a smart switch that controls on/off timing rather than brightness.

What wall fixings are needed?

The 0.9kg weight allows the Tobago to be mounted on plasterboard with appropriate hollow-wall anchors, or directly into masonry with rawl plugs and screws. The fitting includes a mounting plate that conceals the fixings once the light is installed.

Does it provide enough light for a hallway?

The 760lm output and 110° beam angle provide ambient wash light rather than task-level brightness. In a 2-3m wide hallway one Tobago may be sufficient as secondary lighting, but wider corridors or staircases benefit from two fittings spaced 2-3m apart.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No IP rating is declared for the Tobago, so it is suitable for dry indoor locations only and should not be installed in a bathroom zone where moisture or spray is present.
