Description

The Tobago is a 900mm vertical LED wall light with a matt black aluminium body housing an integrated 9W LED that outputs 760 lumens at 3000K. The LED sits behind a full-length diffuser panel running the entire 900mm height, casting a smooth even glow across the wall without visible hotspots or glare. The fitting projects 103mm from the wall and measures just 55mm wide, giving it a slim architectural profile.

Designed for hallways, staircases, bedrooms and living spaces where vertical wall lighting adds functional and ambient light without consuming floor or ceiling space, the Tobago works as a single feature on narrow wall sections or in pairs flanking doorways, mirrors or artwork. The 110° beam angle spreads light broadly across the wall, avoiding the tight spotlight effect common in smaller fittings. The warm 3000K colour temperature suits residential settings where cooler daylight tones would feel clinical.

The matt black powder-coated aluminium finish absorbs light rather than reflecting it, making the fitting itself recede against darker walls while the light it casts stands out. On lighter walls the black aluminium provides a graphic accent line. The 9W power draw and integrated LED design mean no bulb replacements for the typical LED lifespan of 25,000-30,000 hours. Is the Tobago dimmable?

No. The integrated LED runs at a fixed 9W output on 220-240V mains and cannot be dimmed. If dimmable wall lighting is required, consider a fitting with a replaceable lamp socket compatible with dimmable LED bulbs.

What room size does 760 lumens suit?

760lm provides ambient or accent lighting rather than primary task light. In a hallway or bedroom it works as supplementary lighting alongside ceiling fittings. As a solo light source it suits small spaces up to approximately 8-10m² where soft ambient light is sufficient.

Can it be mounted horizontally?

The Tobago is designed for vertical mounting with the 900mm height running floor-to-ceiling. Horizontal mounting is not recommended as the internal LED and diffuser are optimised for vertical orientation and may not distribute light evenly when rotated.

What wall depth is needed for installation?

The fitting projects 103mm from the wall. The back plate fixes flush to the wall surface and requires only enough depth to accommodate the wiring and fixing points — typically 25-35mm back box depth or a solid wall with appropriate wall plugs.
