Description

The Tobago is a 1250mm vertical wall light built around an integrated 12W LED strip housed in a slim gold-finished aluminium channel. The LED runs the full height of the fitting, producing 1010 lumens of 3000K warm white light through a diffuser that spreads the output at 110° beam angle, washing the wall both up and down from the fitting.

Designed for hallways, stairwells, living rooms and bedrooms where vertical accent lighting is needed, the Tobago mounts flush to the wall with a 113mm projection. The 55mm width keeps the profile narrow enough to fit beside doorframes, between wall panels, or flanking a mirror or artwork without dominating the vertical space. The gold finish works in both contemporary warm-toned interiors and transitional schemes where metallic accents are used sparingly.

The aluminium body weighs 1.1kg and requires a secure fixing into masonry or timber stud — the weight is distributed along the 1250mm height rather than cantilevered from a single point. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and rated for 220-240V mains, eliminating the need for separate drivers or control gear. The diffuser prevents direct LED glare and gives a consistent light wash from floor to picture-rail height.

No. The integrated LED operates on mains voltage and is not compatible with dimmer switches. It provides fixed 1010lm output at 3000K when switched on.

What ceiling height is needed?

The fitting is 1250mm tall. In rooms with standard 2400mm ceiling heights, the Tobago can be positioned centrally on the wall or offset higher/lower depending on the desired wash effect. It works best where at least 300mm clearance is available above and below the fitting.

Does it cast light up and down the wall?

Yes. The 110° beam angle and full-height diffuser produce both uplight and downlight, washing the wall surface above and below the fitting rather than projecting forward into the room.
