Description
The Tobago is a 1250mm vertical LED wall light built from matt white aluminium with an integrated 12W 3000K LED that outputs 1010 lumens through a seamless diffuser. The tall, narrow profile (55mm wide, 113mm projection) casts a column of warm white light up and down the wall without glare, providing ambient and architectural lighting rather than directional task light.
Designed for living rooms, hallways, dining areas and staircases where vertical emphasis and soft ambient wash are wanted, the Tobago works as a standalone accent or in mirrored pairs flanking a doorway, fireplace or feature wall. The 1250mm height suits rooms with 2.4m or higher ceilings, where the fitting can be centred at approximately 1500-1700mm from the floor to balance the vertical proportion. The 110° beam angle spreads light broadly across the wall surface rather than concentrating it in a narrow cone.
The matt white aluminium finish hides fingerprints and pairs comfortably with white, off-white and light grey walls common in contemporary and Scandinavian interiors. The diffuser is fixed rather than removable, and the LED is non-replaceable, giving the fitting a sealed, low-maintenance construction. At 1.1kg the Tobago requires secure fixing into masonry or a solid wall backing rather than plasterboard alone. The fitting is non-dimmable and operates on standard 220-240V mains.

Frequently Asked
Is the Tobago dimmable?
No. The integrated LED operates at a fixed 12W output and is not compatible with dimmer switches.
Can the LED be replaced if it fails?
The LED is integrated into the fitting and is not user-replaceable. The fitting carries a 3-year warranty, and LED failure within this period is covered. Typical LED lifespan is 25,000-30,000 hours, which at 4 hours per day equates to approximately 17-20 years of use.
What wall type is needed for installation?
The 1.1kg weight and 113mm projection require fixing into solid masonry, blockwork or a stud wall with solid timber backing. Plasterboard alone will not support the fitting safely without additional reinforcement.
What ceiling height does it suit?
The 1250mm height works best in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. In lower-ceilinged rooms the fitting can appear too tall relative to the wall height. Most installations centre the fitting at 1500-1700mm from the floor to balance the proportion.
