Description
The Tilston is a three-light ceiling spotlight in a muted green, with a round steel ceiling plate and three cylindrical spot heads, each with a softly rounded back and an open front. It measures 21cm in height and 25cm across the plate, a compact size that keeps the light close to the ceiling and leaves the room feeling open. Each head takes an E14 bulb of up to 40W, and the bulbs are not included, so you choose the colour and warmth of light yourself. It is rated IP20, which settles where it belongs: indoors, in dry rooms, and never in a bathroom or outdoors.
Because each spot head angles independently on its own short stem, one fitting can light several things at once: a picture on the wall, a favourite chair and the middle of the room. That makes it a practical choice for a living room, a bedroom, a hallway or a study, anywhere a single central light leaves the corners dim. The green steel brings a quiet note of colour to a pale ceiling without shouting, and it sits comfortably with soft greys, natural textures and warm wood. It suits anyone who wants flexible, directed light from a single ceiling point without fitting a track or several separate spotlights.
The body is steel, and the plate, stems and heads all share the same green, so nothing breaks the line. There is no switch on the fitting itself, so it works from the wall switch you already use. It runs on a 220-240V, 50/60Hz supply and, as a wired-in mains light, it is installed by a qualified electrician; the installation instructions come as a download. Packed, it weighs 1.871KG. One practical tip: buy three matching E14 bulbs at the same time, so every head gives the same colour of light.

Frequently Asked
Can the Tilston spotlight go in a bathroom?
No. It is rated IP20, which means it belongs in dry indoor rooms only, so we would keep it out of bathrooms and away from outdoor walls.
Which bulbs does it take?
Each of the three heads takes an E14 bulb of up to 40W. The bulbs are not included, so you can choose the colour and warmth you prefer.
Can the spot heads be angled?
Yes. Each cylindrical head is adjustable on its own short stem, so you can point the three lights in different directions around the room.
How big is the fitting?
It measures 21cm in height and 25cm across the round ceiling plate, a compact size that keeps the light close to the ceiling.
Does it have its own switch?
No. There is no switch on the fitting itself, as it is switched at the wall from the light switch you already use.
What material is the spotlight?
The body is steel, finished in a muted green that runs across the ceiling plate, the stems and all three heads.
