Description

The Ticino is an 80cm suspension light with six G9 bulbs housed in cube-shaped clear glass shades, mounted along a horizontal satin chrome bar. Two telescopic central rods suspend the bar from a ceiling plate, allowing the drop to be adjusted between 420mm and 590mm during installation to suit ceiling heights from 2.2m to 3m.

Designed for dining tables and kitchen islands in modern interiors, the Ticino provides direct downlight from six individual sources spaced evenly along the 80cm span. The cube glass shades diffuse each bulb while maintaining directional output, suitable for illuminating a surface 1.6-2m long. The horizontal configuration keeps the light linear, matching rectangular dining tables and parallel kitchen worktops better than cluster pendants.

The satin chrome finish softens reflections compared to polished chrome, pairing well with brushed metal door handles, tap fittings and appliances in contemporary kitchens. Each G9 bulb socket accepts up to 40W halogen or LED equivalents, with six bulbs included. The fitting is dimmable when paired with dimmable G9 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. The total weight of 2.5kg requires secure fixing to a ceiling joist or appropriate anchor.
