Description

The Tibet is a 650mm ceiling fan light combining a brushed silver finish with a white diffuser ring and retractable DC motor fan blades hidden behind a geometric grille. The integrated LED provides 3900 lumens of tuneable white light from 2700K warm to 5000K cool, adjustable via the included remote, smartphone app, or voice commands through Alexa and Google Assistant.

Designed for bedrooms, living rooms and open-plan spaces with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Tibet provides both ambient lighting and air circulation from a single ceiling-mounted fitting. The retractable blades extend when the fan is active and fold back flush when stationary, keeping the circular profile clean when the fan is not in use. The 105W total consumption covers both LED and motor operation, with the fan offering multiple speed settings controlled from the remote.

The brushed silver outer ring contrasts with the white diffuser centre, where the LED ring sits behind an opal acrylic panel that diffuses light evenly across the 120° beam angle. The 200mm height from ceiling to base suits rooms where recessed ceiling fans would require structural work, providing fan function without cutting into joists. What ceiling height is needed for safe installation?

The Tibet sits 200mm below the ceiling once fitted. For comfortable headroom and safe fan blade clearance when the blades are extended, a minimum ceiling height of 2.4m is recommended. Lower ceilings may result in the fan blades operating too close to head height.

How are the fan blades controlled?

The fan has multiple speed settings controlled via the remote, smartphone app, or voice commands. The retractable blades extend when the fan is switched on and retract flush when the fan is off, keeping the circular profile intact.

What does CCT tuneable mean?

CCT (Correlated Colour Temperature) tuneable means the LED can shift from 2700K warm white to 5000K cool white. This allows the light temperature to be adjusted to suit the time of day or task, without changing bulbs.

Does it require a reinforced ceiling rose?

Yes. At 6.4kg the Tibet exceeds the load capacity of standard plastic ceiling roses. The fitting should be mounted to a reinforced ceiling rose, a joist-mounted bracket, or directly into a ceiling joist for safe installation.
