Description

The Theodore is an 81 x 61cm buttoned stool upholstered in warm grey woven fabric with deep button tufting across the top surface and piped edges defining the seat perimeter. The fabric sits on a dark brown stained wooden frame with four tapered legs, giving a combined height of 48cm from floor to seat top.

Designed as a footstool for armchairs or as occasional seating in living rooms and bedrooms, the Theodore pairs directly with the Theodore Buttoned Occasional Armchair from the same range. The 81cm width spans comfortably in front of a single armchair or at the foot of a bed as a place to sit while dressing. The button tufting creates defined sections across the seat surface, preventing the fabric from sagging over time and adding visual interest to what would otherwise be a plain upholstered rectangle.

The woven fabric has a tactile, slightly textured surface rather than a smooth velvet or linen finish, and the warm grey tone sits between charcoal and stone, working with both cool and warm interior palettes. The wooden frame requires simple self-assembly on delivery — the legs fix to the upholstered base with pre-drilled holes and supplied fixings. At 12.86kg the stool has enough weight to stay planted on carpet or bare floors without sliding when used as a footrest.

Yes. The Theodore arrives flat-pack with the legs detached from the upholstered seat base. The legs fix to the base using pre-drilled holes and supplied screws. Assembly typically takes 10-15 minutes with a screwdriver.
