This off white porcelain cup carries a softly painted bumble bee resting on a cluster of pink and lilac flowers, with fine pink splashes scattered around it. The bee is drawn in close detail, from its black and amber stripes to its pale, veined wings, and the same picture appears on both sides, so it faces you whichever hand you hold it in. Just inside the rim, a printed border repeats the words 'The Humble Bumble Bee' all the way round in neat black capitals.
