Description

This engraved slate coaster carries a full football tribute across its black face, laid out like an old-fashioned sports badge. 'A True Champion' arches over the top beneath a row of stars, with 'The Football Legend' in big flowing script at its heart. Around the words sit a football, a whistle, a boot and a small trophy, and the line 'They don't make them like this anymore' leads down to a ribbon banner reading 'Best of the Best', with 'Always between the posts' along the foot. Every part of the design is engraved in a soft grey that reads clearly against the dark slate. The coaster is square, 10cm each way and 1cm thick, with rough, uneven edges that give it a rugged look.
