Description

This off-white cup is wrapped in soft, painterly illustrations of chickens. A little flock of russet hens pecks and struts around its sides, with tiny speckles of colour at their feet. Look inside and you'll find the words THE FARMYARD CHICKENS running all the way round just below the rim in neat black capitals, so the farmyard theme carries on as you drink. It's a round, wide cup that tapers gently towards its base, with a generous loop handle, and it stands 8cm high, 13cm wide and 10cm deep.

At 340ml it holds a generous cup of tea or coffee, enough for a long morning brew without a trip back to the kettle. The wide top makes it a comfortable one to wrap both hands around, and it suits a milky latte or a hot chocolate on a cold evening just as well. We think it looks most at home in a country kitchen, on the breakfast table or hanging from a hook on the dresser, where the chickens can keep everyone company.
