Thai CCT Dimmable LED Ceiling Fan Light - Retractable Blades White With Remote & App Control

The Thai is a 1220mm diameter LED ceiling fan light with three retractable blades that extend when the fan is switched on and retract flush into the white circular housing when the fan is switched off. An integrated 65W LED ring delivers 2400lm of tuneable white light between 2700K warm white and 5000K cool white, with stepless dimming controlled via the supplied IR remote or the companion mobile app. A DC motor drives the blades for quiet operation and lower power consumption than AC fan motors.

Designed for bedrooms, living rooms and home offices with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Thai combines cooling airflow with overhead lighting in a single fitting. When retracted, the blades disappear into the housing to present a clean circular profile approximately 310mm deep. When extended, the three blades span 1220mm and operate at variable speeds controlled by the remote or app. The LED ring sits below the blade housing and casts diffused light through a frosted acrylic lens with a 120° beam angle, covering most of a 16-20m² room with general ambient light.

The white powder-coated metal housing and white acrylic lens give the fitting a monochrome appearance that pairs with white ceilings and minimalist interiors. The tuneable white LED allows the colour temperature to be adjusted to suit different times of day or activities — warmer 2700K for evening relaxation, cooler 5000K for morning task lighting. The remote control includes presets for common brightness and colour temperature combinations, while the app provides more granular adjustment and the ability to set timers and schedules.

How do the retractable blades work?

The three blades are stored inside the circular housing when the fan is off. When the fan is switched on via the remote or app, the blades extend outward on hinged arms to their full 1220mm span. When the fan is switched off, the blades retract back into the housing, leaving a clean circular profile with no visible blade edges.

What ceiling height is needed?

The fitting measures 310mm deep when blades are retracted and 435mm when fully extended. For safe clearance above head height, a minimum ceiling height of 2.4m is recommended. Rooms with ceilings below 2.4m may find the extended blades sit too low for comfortable movement underneath.

Can the fan and light be controlled separately?

Yes. Both the remote and the app allow independent control of the fan speed and the LED brightness/colour temperature. You can run the fan without the light, the light without the fan, or both together.

What's the difference between remote and app control?

The IR remote provides quick access to on/off, fan speed presets, brightness presets and colour temperature presets. The mobile app connects via WiFi and provides more detailed adjustment of brightness levels, colour temperature, custom scenes, timers and scheduling. Both methods can be used interchangeably.
