Description

The Teva is a single-light wall fitting built around a vertical antique bronze steel arm with architectural detailing at the top and bottom, supporting a rectangular white Shantung silk shade at the midpoint. The arm measures 765mm tall with a 292mm width and projects 121mm from the wall, positioning the shade to cast light both upward and downward along the wall while diffusing it outward through the fabric.

Designed for hallways, staircases, bedside positions and living room accent lighting, the Teva provides ambient light through the silk shade while the bronze arm adds vertical interest to the wall plane. The single E27 socket accepts bulbs up to 60W (sold separately), allowing control over light temperature and brightness. The mounting plate fixes to a standard electrical box with the cable run concealed behind the bronze arm.

The antique bronze finish on the steel arm shows darker patina in the recesses of the turned details, giving depth to the surface. The Shantung silk shade has a subtle slub texture visible when backlit, softening the light output and reducing glare. The rectangular shade measures approximately 292mm wide and sits centred on the vertical arm, balanced by the decorative finials above and below.

The fitting takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED bulb between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for ambient hallway or bedroom lighting.

How is the light distributed?

The rectangular shade diffuses light outward through the Shantung silk fabric while allowing light to escape upward and downward along the bronze arm, creating both ambient fill and vertical wash on the wall behind the fitting.

What wall clearance is needed?

The fitting projects 121mm from the wall at the shade. Allow at least 150mm of clearance from the wall to avoid the shade being knocked or brushed past in narrow hallways.

Is the Teva dimmable?

Dimming capability depends on the bulb chosen. Pair the E27 socket with a dimmable LED bulb and a compatible dimmer switch to control brightness.
