Description
The Tessaro is a 450mm x 200mm alabaster wall light built from three vertical panels of natural Spanish alabaster set between staggered black metal fins. An integrated LED inside the body casts warm 3000K light forward through the stone, while the surrounding metal blades break the silhouette into a layered, architectural composition rather than a single flat plate.
Designed as a decorative wall fitting for hallways, stairwells, lounges and primary bedrooms, the Tessaro sits proud of the wall as a sculpted vertical form. The 450mm height suits eye-level mounting beside a bed or sofa, or as a paired set flanking a fireplace, mirror or hallway console. The 230V mains supply runs through a concealed back plate so no fixings are visible from the front once installed.
Each alabaster panel shows different veining, cloudy tonal variation and mineral inclusions depending on the section of stone it was cut from, so no two Tessaro fittings illuminate identically. The contrast between the soft white translucency of the alabaster and the matt black metal blades emphasises both materials: the stone glows, the metal recedes into shadow. The fins are finished smoothly with concealed edges, keeping the geometry crisp against the organic veining.

Frequently Asked
Does the Tessaro come with a bulb?
The light source is built in. Tessaro uses an integrated LED running on 230V mains at 3000K (warm white), so there is no replaceable bulb to fit. The LED is hardwired into the fitting and supplied ready to install.
Where is it best installed?
The 450mm vertical form suits hallways, stairwells, lounges and bedrooms. It works well at eye level beside a bed or sofa, or mounted in pairs to flank a mirror, fireplace or console. As a wall-only fitting it is rated for indoor dry-location use, not bathrooms or outdoor settings.
Will the alabaster look the same as the photograph?
The overall form, finish and proportions match the image, but the alabaster veining and cloudy tonal variation differ between individual panels because the stone is natural. Expect variation in the pattern, density and warmth of the markings — this is a feature of the material, not a defect.
How is the alabaster cleaned?
Wipe the alabaster panels with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the stone and do not use household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners, as alabaster is porous and softer than marble.
