Description

The Terroso is a 150mm-diameter pendant light built around a hand-finished travertine dome shade, capped with a walnut brown wooden top and finished beneath with an opal glass diffuser. The light beige travertine is set with embedded stone fragments in amber, cream, ochre and warm brown tones, giving the shade a terrazzo-style surface where larger inclusions catch light and glow when the G9 lamp is switched on.

Suited to dining tables, kitchen islands, bedside positions and entrance halls, the Terroso works well hung singly over a console or in clusters of three above a longer dining table or kitchen run. The 160mm height keeps the fitting compact, making it suitable for rooms with standard 2.4m ceilings as well as taller spaces. The walnut-finished cap conceals the lamp holder and the dark bronze suspension stem connects to a matching ceiling fixing.

The combination of natural travertine and wood gives each pendant a different appearance, since the stone aggregate distribution varies between pieces. Light leaks through the translucent inclusions in the dome, while the opal glass diffuser at the base softens direct downward light onto the surface below. This creates two distinct lighting layers from a single fitting: ambient glow through the stone and diffused task light from the lower globe.
