The Tentacle is a 680mm semi-flush ceiling light with five curling arms finished in rustic gold, each terminating in a frosted amber glass shade that houses an E14 bulb fitting. The arms extend from a central ceiling plate in an organic, flowing pattern that gives the fitting a sculptural profile without hanging low into the room. The frosted amber glass diffuses light with a warm tonal cast, and the hand-painted rustic gold finish shows tonal variation across the metalwork.

Designed for living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the semi-flush mounting keeps the fitting close to the ceiling while allowing the curling arms to project downwards and outwards across approximately 680mm of ceiling span. The 320mm total height from ceiling to the lowest point of the shade means the fitting works in rooms where a full-drop chandelier would hang too low. Each of the five E14 fittings accepts bulbs up to 40W, giving flexibility to choose LED, halogen or decorative filament bulbs depending on the light output and colour temperature required.

The amber glass shades are handmade, so minor variations in tone and translucency occur between individual pieces. The rustic gold finish is hand-painted onto the metal frame, creating a weathered, antique appearance rather than a uniform polished surface. Is the Tentacle dimmable?

The fitting itself is compatible with dimming, but you must use dimmable E14 bulbs and pair them with a compatible dimmer switch. Not all LED bulbs dim smoothly, so check the bulb manufacturer's compatibility guidance before installation.
