The Tarifa III is a satin nickel wall reading light with an integrated 3W LED housed in a tubular adjustable arm mounted on a 60mm x 180mm rectangular backplate. A USB-C charging port sits on the front of the backplate alongside a rocker switch, allowing a phone or tablet to charge while the light is in use. The LED outputs 210 lumens at 3000K warm white and the arm pivots to direct light onto a pillow, book or desk surface.

Designed for bedside reading, study desks and lounge seating where a mains-powered task light is preferred over a table lamp, the Tarifa III mounts directly to the wall at the required height and eliminates the need for a bedside table or desk space to hold a lamp. The USB-C port provides fast-charge capability for modern phones and devices, while the rocker switch on the front plate removes the need to reach for a wall switch or cord pull. The 115mm projection keeps the light head clear of the wall, allowing the arm to be angled without obstruction.

The satin nickel finish is a brushed metallic surface that softens reflections and pairs with contemporary, industrial and mid-century interiors. The tubular arm design gives a slimmer profile than dome or cone-headed reading lights, reducing visual bulk in smaller bedrooms or on narrower wall sections. At 0.4kg the fitting is light enough to mount on plasterboard with appropriate wall plugs, though solid walls provide stronger long-term support if the arm is frequently adjusted.

Is the Tarifa III dimmable?

No. The integrated 3W LED is controlled by a simple on/off rocker switch on the front plate. The light is not compatible with dimmer switches or dimmable circuits.

What height should it be installed at?

For bedside reading, mount the backplate 1000-1200mm above the mattress top, positioning the light head approximately level with the pillow when seated upright. For desk or lounge use, position the light 400-600mm above the work surface or seat back to allow comfortable adjustment of the arm.

What does the USB-C port output?

The USB-C port provides device charging while the light is in use. Exact output voltage and amperage are not specified by Mantra, but the port supports standard USB-C fast-charge protocols for phones and tablets.

Can the arm be adjusted once installed?

Yes. The tubular arm pivots at the joint where it meets the backplate, allowing the light to be angled up, down or sideways to direct the 210-lumen output where needed. The pivot joint holds position by friction and does not require a locking mechanism.
