The Hinkley Taper is a 610mm outdoor LED wall lantern built from weather-resistant composite material in a textured black finish. An integrated 10.5W LED sits recessed inside the tapered rectangular housing, casting warm 3000K light downward and creating a gradient glow across the front face as the light grazes the angled sides.

Designed for entrance porches, garage sides, courtyard walls and commercial building facades, the Taper provides directed task lighting rather than wide-area illumination. The 229mm width and 98mm projection suit walls where a slim profile is needed without losing presence. The IP44 rating protects the LED driver and internal components from rain splash and airborne dust, making the fitting suitable for exposed positions under eaves or on open walls.

The composite construction resists corrosion and UV degradation better than painted metal in coastal or high-humidity environments. The textured black finish is through-coloured rather than a surface coating, so minor surface marks are less visible than on smooth-painted alternatives. The downward light distribution reduces light spill into neighbouring properties and keeps the focus on the ground-level area immediately in front of the wall.
