Description
The Taos is a 120mm cube-shaped LED bathroom wall light with a white cement-effect finish, housing an integrated 12W LED that delivers 1100 lumens of warm 3000K light through a 100° beam angle. The cement-effect surface gives the appearance of poured concrete or sculpted stone without the weight or fragility of actual masonry, achieved through a textured matte coating over the metal and polycarbonate body.
Designed for bathroom installation, the Taos carries an IP65 rating that allows it to be fitted in wet zones including directly above baths and within shower enclosures where water jets may make contact with the fitting. The bi-directional light output casts upward and downward beams onto the wall, creating a wash effect that provides functional ambient light for a bathroom rather than directed task lighting for a mirror. The 120mm cubic footprint sits compactly on the wall without dominating smaller bathrooms, and the white finish pairs neutrally with white tiles, greys, and pastel wall colours.
The integrated LED means no bulb replacement is required over the fitting's typical lifespan of 25,000-30,000 hours of use, translating to approximately 10-12 years of daily 3-hour operation. The non-dimmable LED runs on standard 220-240V mains and draws 12W, equivalent in output to a traditional 75W incandescent bulb but with significantly lower running cost and heat emission. The fitting weighs 1.52kg and mounts directly to the wall via a rear plate concealed behind the cube body.

Frequently Asked
Can this be fitted above a bath or in a shower?
Yes. The IP65 rating means the Taos is fully protected against water jets from any direction, so it can be installed directly above baths, within shower enclosures, or in any wet zone of a bathroom.
Does it provide enough light for a bathroom?
The Taos delivers 1100 lumens of ambient light through upward and downward wall wash, suitable as a main light source in bathrooms up to approximately 4-5 square metres. For larger bathrooms or where mirror task lighting is needed, pair with a dedicated mirror light or additional fitting.
Is the integrated LED replaceable?
No. The LED is integrated into the fitting and not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for approximately 25,000-30,000 hours of use, equivalent to 10-12 years of typical daily bathroom operation.
What does the cement finish look like in practice?
The white cement finish is a textured matte coating that gives the appearance of poured concrete or sculpted plaster, with a slightly grainy surface that softens reflections. It is not actual cement — the fitting is constructed from metal and polycarbonate with a decorative finish applied.
