Talland 3 Light Wall Light - Polished Chrome

The Talland is a 3-light bathroom wall light built around three ribbed glass shades suspended from curved polished chrome arms, each housing a 3W G9 LED bulb (included). The glass shades take their form from early 1900s telegraph pole insulators, with horizontal ridges pressed into the clear glass that refract and scatter light when the LEDs are switched on.

Designed for larger bathroom mirrors and wide vanities, the fitting measures 559mm across and projects 175mm from the wall, giving enough spread to illuminate a double sink or a mirror width of 1000-1200mm. The IP44 rating makes it suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3 — safe above sinks and beside baths where water spray is possible. The polished chrome finish reflects ambient light and pairs with chrome taps, towel rails and mirror frames.

The three G9 LEDs produce warm 3000K light through the ribbed glass, which softens the beam and reduces glare compared to exposed bulbs. The glass shades hang downward on the chrome arms, directing most of the light toward the vanity surface and mirror rather than directly into eyes. The combined metal frame and glass shades give the fitting a substantial presence without overwhelming smaller bathrooms — the 163mm height keeps it compact enough for standard 2.4m ceiling heights.

Is the Talland suitable for bathroom use?

Yes. The IP44 rating makes it safe for bathroom zones 2 and 3, meaning it can be installed above sinks, beside baths, and in areas where water spray is possible. It should not be installed directly above a bath or inside a shower enclosure (zones 0 and 1).

What size mirror or vanity does it suit?

The 559mm width works well above vanities between 1000-1200mm wide, typically double-sink installations or large single mirrors. For smaller mirrors under 800mm, consider the single or double-light versions of the Talland range.

Are the bulbs replaceable?

Yes. The fitting includes three 3W G9 LED bulbs, which are standard G9 capsule bulbs available separately if replacements are needed in future. The G9 socket accepts any standard G9 LED up to the maximum 3W rating.

How is the glass cleaned?

The ribbed glass shades can be wiped with a damp microfibre cloth once the bulbs have cooled and the power is switched off at the mains. For stubborn watermarks or soap residue, a diluted vinegar solution or glass cleaner can be used, then rinsed and dried to prevent streaking.
