This tall metal candle holder takes the form of a little house, complete with a pitched roof and cut-out windows that let the light flicker through. Standing 23cm high on a compact 9x8cm footprint, it is finished in a warm brown with a rustic, lightly weathered surface that gives the metal a hand-worked, aged character. A glass votive sits inside to hold a tealight or small votive candle, keeping the flame contained and casting a soft, steady glow around the room.

It suits a mantelpiece, a windowsill, a hallway console or a shelf where a little architectural detail adds warmth. The house shape works well grouped with plainer candle holders of differing heights, or stood alongside greenery, dried stems and lanterns for a layered display.
