Description
The Take is a 3-light LED table lamp built around three bronze-finished tubular arms rising from a circular base at asymmetric angles, each arm cut on a diagonal plane and housing an integrated 3W LED module at its open end. The combined 9W output casts 800lm of warm 3000K light through the angled apertures, directing focused beams onto surrounding surfaces while the bronze tubes themselves remain unlit. The design references bamboo cuts, with the diagonal ends mimicking the natural nodes found in sectioned bamboo cane.
Designed as decorative accent lighting rather than primary task lighting, the Take suits side tables, console tables and low shelving in living rooms, bedrooms and hospitality lounges where sculptural form matters as much as the light itself. The 330mm height and 250mm length footprint occupy roughly the same surface area as a typical A4 sheet, making it workable on narrower console tables and bedside surfaces without dominating the space. The three light sources create overlapping pools of warm light on adjacent walls and surfaces, giving ambient fill without the harsh shadows of a single-point source.
The bronze finish is a textured powder coat over aluminium, not solid metal, which keeps the 1.15kg weight manageable and the price lower than cast bronze equivalents. The warm metallic tone pairs with terracotta, ochre, rust and other earth tones in contemporary and industrial interiors, and sits comfortably alongside darker woods and matte black metalwork. The LEDs are non-replaceable and integrated into the lamp structure, designed to last the functional life of the fitting. The lamp is not dimmable and runs on standard UK 230V mains via a plug and inline switch on the cable.

Frequently Asked
Can the LEDs be replaced when they fail?
No. The LEDs are integrated into the lamp structure and cannot be replaced. The modules are rated for approximately 25,000 hours of use, which equates to around 8-10 years at typical domestic usage of 3-4 hours per day. When the LEDs reach end of life, the entire lamp would need replacing.
Is the Take dimmable?
No. The integrated LED driver does not support dimming. The lamp operates at a fixed 9W output delivering 800lm once switched on.
What colour temperature does it produce?
The LEDs are rated at 3000K, which sits in the warm white range. This produces a soft, yellowish-white light similar to traditional halogen bulbs, warmer than daylight or cool white LEDs.
How directional is the light output?
Quite directional. Each of the three arms casts a focused beam through its angled aperture onto the surface or wall it faces, creating overlapping pools of light rather than diffused all-round ambient illumination. The lamp works best positioned where the beams can hit adjacent surfaces rather than in the centre of a large open room.
