The Mantra Take is a 10-light LED semi-flush ceiling fitting built around a cluster of slim tubular arms radiating from a circular bronze ceiling base. Each tube extends at a different angle and length, with the ends cut at an oblique angle to echo bamboo stalks, and houses an integrated LED that projects light outward from the tip. The combined output is 2700lm at 3000K warm white across the 30W total consumption, distributed across the 10 tubes rather than a single central source.

Designed for living rooms, dining areas, bedrooms and hallways with standard 2.4m ceiling heights, the semi-flush profile sits 80cm below the ceiling at full extension, giving sculptural presence without the drop of a traditional pendant. The asymmetric arrangement of the tubes creates geometric interest from multiple viewing angles, and the bronze finish adds warmth to both contemporary and traditional interiors. The fitting is dimmable when paired with a compatible LED dimmer, allowing output to be reduced for evening ambience.

The bronze coating is applied to metal tubes, giving a matte metallic finish that softens reflections and pairs well with warm wood tones, terracotta, ochre and neutral palettes. The 600mm length and 360mm width give the fitting a horizontal emphasis that suits rectangular rooms and tables, while the 80cm height means it works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above without overwhelming the space. Is the Take dimmable?

Yes, the integrated LEDs are dimmable when used with a compatible trailing-edge LED dimmer. Not all dimmers are compatible with integrated LED fittings, so check the dimmer specification before pairing. Incompatible dimmers may cause flicker or limited dimming range.

What ceiling height is needed?

The fitting extends 800mm below the ceiling. For comfortable head clearance in a living room or bedroom, a ceiling height of 2.6m or above is recommended. In hallways or areas where people do not linger directly beneath the fitting, 2.4m ceilings are acceptable.

Can the tubes be adjusted or repositioned?

No. The tubes are fixed at the factory in their asymmetric arrangement and cannot be repositioned on site. The configuration is part of the design and remains consistent across all Take fittings.

What fixing does it require?

At 2.5kg, the fitting must be secured to a ceiling joist or a suitable anchor point rated for the weight. A standard plasterboard ceiling rose without reinforcement is not sufficient. The fitting connects to mains 220-240V wiring via a ceiling terminal block or junction box.
