Tahiti XL LED Wall Light 36W 3000K - White

The Tahiti XL is a 400mm wide LED wall light built from three overlapping rectangular white metal panels that sit at different depths from the wall, creating a layered geometric composition. An integrated 36W LED behind the panels casts 3240 lumens of warm 3000K light outwards through the gaps between the layers, producing both ambient wash and accent lighting along the wall surface.

Designed as a feature wall fitting for living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and hotel corridors, the Tahiti XL works where both functional light and architectural presence are needed. The 60mm projection from the wall gives the layered panels enough depth to cast shadows under accent lighting, while remaining shallow enough not to obstruct walkways in narrower hallways. The white powder-coated finish reflects some of the LED output back onto the wall, adding to the ambient glow.

At 2.6kg the fitting requires secure fixings into solid wall or studwork, with the electrical connection made behind the rear panel. The non-dimmable LED is rated at 3000K (warm white), giving comparable warmth to a traditional halogen wall light but with lower heat output and energy consumption. The three-panel composition creates a graphic silhouette when viewed straight-on and develops more dimensional depth when viewed from an angle.

The 190mm height keeps the fitting compact against its 400mm width, giving a horizontal emphasis that suits the space above a sofa, a bed headboard or a console table. Wiring is handled at 220-240V behind the rear panel, and the integrated LED removes the routine of sourcing replacement lamps over the fitting's life. The three panels sit at different depths behind the 60mm projection, so the shadow lines shift as you move past.

Is the Tahiti XL dimmable?

No. The integrated LED operates at fixed output on mains voltage and is not compatible with dimmer switches.

What wall fixings are needed?

At 2.6kg the fitting requires secure fixings into solid wall (masonry screws and wall plugs) or into studwork (wood screws into studs). Plasterboard-only fixings are not recommended. The electrical connection is made behind the rear panel, so access to mains wiring at the mounting point is required.

Can it be installed horizontally or vertically?

The 400mm width x 190mm height dimensions suggest horizontal mounting as standard. Vertical mounting is possible if the fixing points align, but check that the layered panel arrangement still works compositionally when rotated 90 degrees.
