Description

The Tahiti Rectangles is a 162mm LED wall light built from two overlapping rectangular planes in matt white, projecting 50mm from the wall surface. An integrated 5W LED sits behind the front plane and casts 325 lumens of 3000K warm white light across both rectangles and onto the wall, creating an indirect ambient wash rather than a directional beam.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms, staircases and low-ceiling corridors where compact wall-mounted lighting is needed without surface-mounted track or pendant drop, the Tahiti works on standard UK mains wiring without an external driver box. The 120° beam angle spreads light horizontally rather than concentrating it in a narrow spot, making the fitting suited to guiding movement along corridors or illuminating the area around a bedside without harsh downward light.

The matt white powder-coated aluminium finish softens reflections under daylight and pairs cleanly with white walls, where the fitting sits as a low-profile accent rather than a contrasting feature. At 0.55kg the light mounts directly to plasterboard walls with standard cavity fixings. The LED is non-dimmable and non-replaceable, rated for 20,000 hours of use at 5W continuous draw.

No. The integrated LED operates at 5W on mains voltage and is not compatible with dimmer switches. The light output is fixed at 325 lumens.

Can the LED be replaced?

No. The LED is integrated into the fitting and is not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for 20,000 hours of use, equivalent to approximately 10 years at 5 hours per day.

What type of light does it cast?

What fixings are needed for plasterboard walls?
