Description

This resin figurine shows a mother cat sitting tall with her two kittens. One kitten climbs up against her side with its paws on her back, and the other is tucked in low at her front paws. All three wear a light brown tabby coat with soft cream on the chests, muzzles and paws. They have pink noses, pink inner ears and dark glossy eyes that give each face a sweet, attentive look. The fur is sculpted in fine, layered strokes all the way round, so the striped tails and the mother's back are as detailed as the faces. It stands 15cm tall, 13cm wide and 9cm deep.

At 15cm tall, it is a comfortable size for a mantelpiece, a bookshelf, a windowsill or a bedside table. At 9cm deep, it fits a narrow shelf or the corner of a desk. Because it is finished on every side, it can stand where it will be seen from more than one angle, such as a coffee table or a hallway console. The gentle family scene suits a living room, a bedroom or a home office. Its warm light brown and cream tones sit nicely with natural wood, cream walls and soft neutral furnishings.

The three cats are joined together as one resin piece, so there are no loose parts to arrange. It stands on its own without a stand or wall fixing. To keep the fur detail crisp, dust it now and then with a soft dry brush or cloth. If it needs more, wipe it with a slightly damp cloth and dry it straight away. It is a lovely present to wrap and give, sweet enough to make someone smile when the paper comes off. If it is for your own home, we would set it on a shelf at eye level, where the kittens' faces are easiest to enjoy.
