Description

The Sync Wood is a 500mm diameter chandelier built around a two-tier metal frame with embossed circular bands, from which strands of white-painted wooden beads cascade in a double-bell silhouette. The upper tier forms a narrow cone draped in beads, while the lower tier expands into a wider bowl section, also fully clad in bead strands. Six E14 candle bulb fittings sit inside the beaded structure, with the bulbs sold separately.

Designed for dining rooms, living rooms and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Sync Wood provides ambient light filtered through the wooden bead curtain. The 840mm drop (including chain and canopy) positions the chandelier 600-750mm above a dining table in a typical 2.4-2.7m ceiling space. The beads diffuse direct glare from the bulbs while allowing light to pass through the gaps between strands, creating scattered patterns on surrounding walls and ceilings.

Each wooden bead is individually threaded and hand-strung, giving the chandelier a craft-made texture that contrasts with the powder-coated metal frame. The matte white finish on both the beads and the metal unifies the piece visually and pairs with coastal, Scandinavian, modern farmhouse and neutral contemporary interiors. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor spaces away from bathrooms and outdoor exposure.

The chandelier is dimmable when paired with dimmable E14 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch on the circuit. Most users pair this with 6 x LED candle bulbs between 4-6W each and 2700K-3000K colour temperature to keep the overall output soft and warm-toned. The wooden beads are factory-painted rather than stained, so the white finish is consistent across all strands without grain variation showing through.
