Description

The Sven is a 300mm outdoor wall or ceiling light with a die-cast aluminium frame finished in graphite, housing two E27 bulb fittings behind a polycarbonate lens. The frame divides the lens into three horizontal bars, creating a layered light output when fitted with bulbs. The IP54 rating protects the fittings against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction, making it suitable for covered outdoor positions including porches, balconies and wall-mounted patio installation.

Designed for dual mounting, the Sven can be fixed to an external wall as an upright or horizontal bulkhead, or surface-mounted to a porch ceiling or soffit. The 90mm projection from the wall minimises head clearance issues on narrow paths or doorways, while the 185mm width covers standard outdoor back boxes. The polycarbonate lens diffuses the light from both E27 bulbs across the three-bar aperture rather than creating hard beam patterns, giving a softer wash of light suitable for outdoor steps, side entrances and perimeter lighting.

The die-cast aluminium construction provides impact resistance and corrosion resistance better than pressed steel alternatives. The graphite powder-coat finish is a mid-tone charcoal grey that pairs with anthracite windows, black brick detail and contemporary render finishes. Each E27 socket accepts bulbs up to 60W, allowing choice between warm-white LED for functional lighting or amber filament bulbs for a warmer tone in decorative outdoor settings.
