Description

The Suri is a 278mm tall outdoor pedestal lantern with a cage frame in textured black composite material and a cylindrical clear seeded glass enclosure housing a single E27 bulb (sold separately). The cage design is modelled on marine deck lighting, with vertical bars protecting the glass and a stepped ceiling rose that can be surface-mounted onto gate posts, porch columns, brick piers or timber decking newel posts.

Designed for patios, garden pathways, driveways and entrance porches, the Suri provides downward and radial light distribution through the seeded glass. The IP44 rating protects against rain and dust ingress from any direction, making the fitting suitable for exposed outdoor locations. The 140mm diameter footprint sits comfortably on standard 150mm square or circular post caps without overhang.

The composite body is UV-stabilised and resistant to salt spray, which maintains the textured black finish in coastal locations where metal fittings would corrode. The seeded glass has raised bubbles and ripples across the surface, scattering light from the bulb to reduce glare when viewed directly. The fitting accepts any E27 LED, halogen or filament bulb up to 40W, allowing the light temperature and brightness to be chosen according to the application.
