Description
This is the corner piece for our Surface Profile 2 range. It is a white L-shaped connector that takes a run of surface-mounted LED strip profile through a right angle. The body is aluminium in a white finish, and a frosted white cover runs along both arms, so the corner keeps the same clean, even look as the straight lengths either side. It has a length of 11cm and weighs 0.046KG packed, a small part with a big job at the corners of a run.
We suggest it wherever a line of LED light needs to follow a corner rather than stop short of it. Around the edge of a ceiling, it lets the strip turn where two walls meet, so the glow carries on round the room in one unbroken line. Without a corner piece, two straight lengths have to butt together or leave a gap, and the light breaks exactly where the eye looks first. It suits anyone planning a continuous perimeter of light in a living room, hallway or bedroom, and it gives a finished, built-in look to a run that would otherwise end abruptly.
Small metal clips sit on the inner edge of each arm, and the open ends show the inner channel, ready to line up with the straight profile. Aluminium is light and does not rust, and the white finish blends quietly with a white ceiling or wall. As a practical note from us, count the corners in your plan before you order, since each right-angle turn takes one connector.
