Strato Outdoor LED Wall Light 4W 3000K - Black

The Strato is a compact outdoor wall light with an integrated 4W 3000K LED housed in a matt black metal body measuring 12cm wide by 8cm high. The light projects through two curved apertures at the base of the cylindrical housing, directing warm white light downwards and along the wall surface. The IP54 rating provides protection against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction, suitable for covered porches, entrance ways, and sheltered exterior walls.

Designed for residential front doors, garage entrances, garden pathways and courtyard walls, the Strato mounts flush to masonry or rendered walls using a rear backplate that conceals the cable entry point. The downward light pattern creates pools of illumination at ground level without upward spill into neighbouring windows, making it suitable for boundary walls and shared access areas. The 4W LED output provides functional task lighting rather than decorative wash, with enough brightness to illuminate door locks, steps and path edges.

The matt black powder-coated metal finish resists corrosion in coastal and urban environments and pairs cleanly with contemporary render, brick and cladding finishes. The cylindrical form measures 3.7cm in projection from the wall, sitting closer to the surface than traditional bulkhead fittings. The 3000K colour temperature produces a warm white tone that complements exterior brickwork and timber without the cool blue cast of higher-temperature LEDs. The integrated LED removes the need for bulb replacement and draws minimal power on 100-240V AC supply.

Can this be used on a fully exposed exterior wall?

The IP54 rating protects against dust and water splashes, making it suitable for covered porches and walls under eaves. For fully exposed positions subject to driving rain, an IP65-rated fitting would provide better long-term protection.

What light pattern does it produce?

The two apertures at the base of the cylindrical housing direct light downwards and along the wall surface. This creates ground-level pools of light for wayfinding and task lighting without upward spill or glare into upper-floor windows.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The 4W LED is integrated into the fitting and not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for extended operational life and backed by a 3-year warranty from Maytoni.

How is it wired?

The fitting mounts to a flush backplate fixed to the wall, with mains cable entering through the rear. Installation requires connection to 100-240V AC mains supply and should be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with BS 7671 wiring regulations.
