Description

The Strato is a 6W LED outdoor wall light in black powder-coated metal, designed with a curved body that houses three downward-facing LED modules behind a protective front panel. The integrated 6W LED delivers 3000K warm white light with a CRI of 80, directing illumination downwards onto pathways, steps and exterior walls. An IP54 rating provides protection against water splashes and dust ingress, making the fitting suitable for covered porches, garden walls and entrance areas.

Designed for modern and contemporary exteriors, the Strato fits flush to the wall with a low 4.2cm projection, minimising obstruction in narrow passages and reducing the risk of accidental contact. The 16.5cm width and curved profile cast light across a wider spread than single-source wall lights, reducing the number of fittings needed to illuminate longer wall runs. The fitting accepts 100-240V AC mains, covering UK and European installations without voltage conversion.

The black powder-coated finish resists corrosion from moisture and UV exposure, maintaining colour stability over outdoor use. The metal body dissipates heat from the LED modules without requiring visible ventilation grilles, preserving the clean lines of the curved face. What does the IP54 rating mean for outdoor use?

IP54 provides protection against dust ingress and splashing water from any direction. The Strato is suitable for covered porches, walls under eaves, and garden areas where the fitting is not directly exposed to driving rain. It should not be installed in fully exposed positions or where submersion or high-pressure water jets are likely.

Can the light output be dimmed?

The integrated 6W LED is not dimmable. The output is fixed at 3000K warm white. If dimming is required, a different model with dimmable LED modules would be needed.

What type of mounting is required?

The Strato mounts directly to an outdoor-rated wall box or surface using two fixing points on the back plate. The 4.2cm projection allows the fitting to sit flush against brick, rendered or timber cladding. Cable entry is through the rear of the housing.

How is the fitting cleaned?

Wipe the black metal surface with a damp cloth and mild detergent if needed. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that may damage the powder-coated finish. Ensure the fitting is switched off and cool before cleaning.
