Description

The Strata is an 800mm alabaster ring chandelier built from natural Spanish alabaster panels banded together by polished copper uprights, suspended on four fine cables from a circular copper canopy. An integrated 3000K LED runs around the inside of the ring, lighting the alabaster from within so the stone itself becomes the diffuser. The ring sits just 85mm tall, giving a low-profile horizontal silhouette.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands, entrance halls and open-plan living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.5m or higher, the Strata works as both ambient and decorative lighting. The 800mm diameter suits dining tables roughly 1.6-2.4m long or kitchen islands of similar scale. Cable suspension is adjustable on installation, allowing the ring to be set 700-800mm above a dining surface or higher in entrance halls where headroom matters.

Each alabaster panel shows different mineral veining and tonal variation, so the lit ring carries a softly layered pattern that no two pieces share. The copper banding between panels picks up warm reflections from the LED and frames each section of stone with a defined vertical line. A stainless steel core supports the alabaster and copper, keeping the 800mm ring rigid and true without visible structural elements interrupting the circular form.

The soft white tone of the alabaster pairs comfortably with the warm copper detailing and the 3000K colour temperature, giving the chandelier a unified warm palette rather than the cooler look of brass or chrome alternatives. The integrated LED removes the need for replacement bulbs over the rated life of the fitting.
