The Stone Rectangle Large is a 100cm horizontal LED wall or ceiling light built around a multicolour slate panel set within a matte black rectangular frame, backlit by an integrated 80W CCT-adjustable LED. The LED sits behind the slate and acrylic diffuser, casting light through the natural stone veining and around the perimeter of the frame to produce both direct illumination and a halo effect against the wall or ceiling surface.

Designed for horizontal mounting above beds, sideboards or sofas, or as a flush ceiling feature in hallways and feature walls, the fitting's 15cm width and 6cm projection make it suitable for spaces where traditional pendant lights would hang too low. The CCT adjustment allows the colour temperature to be switched between warm white (3000K), neutral white (4000K), and cool white (6000K) via a wall switch sequence, giving flexibility to shift the room's tone without re-wiring or changing bulbs.

The multicolour slate panel shows grey, rust and amber mineral tones depending on the section of stone used — no two panels are identical. The slate sits behind a translucent acrylic diffuser that softens the LED output and spreads light evenly across the panel's surface. The matte black aluminium frame holds the slate and diffuser assembly, with mounting points on the back for horizontal or vertical wall fixing, or flush ceiling installation using the supplied bracket.

At 1,288 lumens and 80W, the fitting provides ambient rather than task light — sufficient to light a 4-5m hallway or to wash a feature wall, but typically paired with additional task lighting in living rooms or bedrooms. The IP20 rating confines use to dry indoor areas away from bathrooms or outdoor exposure.

How is the colour temperature adjusted?

The CCT adjustment works via a wall switch sequence. Turn the light off and on again within 3-5 seconds to cycle through warm white (3000K), neutral white (4000K), and cool white (6000K). The fitting remembers the last setting selected. A dedicated CCT remote or dimmer switch is not included.

Can the slate panel be mounted vertically?

Yes. The fitting can be mounted horizontally or vertically on a wall, or flush to a ceiling. The mounting bracket supplied accommodates all three orientations. Vertical mounting suits narrow wall spaces between doorways or at the side of a feature wall.

Does the slate vary between units?

Yes. Each slate panel is cut from natural stone, so the mineral veining, rust tones, and grey-to-amber colour variation differ between individual units. This is a characteristic of natural slate, not a defect.

Is it suitable for bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating confines use to dry indoor areas. It cannot be installed in bathrooms, wet rooms, or any area subject to moisture or outdoor exposure.
