Description

This ceramic mug carries Stitch on a soft pastel blue body, with white brushstroke swirls looping round it and a chunky bobble handle on one side. One face shows him sitting with his big pink-lined ears up and a wide, cheeky grin. The other has him standing with one arm raised in a wave and a little green rag doll held in his other hand. Inside, red and cream stripes run all the way round the walls, so there is a flash of colour every time you look in. It stands 8.5cm tall and 8.5cm wide, and measures 14cm deep.

It makes a bright cup for a morning tea or an afternoon coffee, and at 300ml it holds a generous brew without a top-up halfway through. The bobble handle is a ring of rounded beads that gives your fingers plenty to hold, and the flat base sits it neatly on a desk, a kitchen worktop or a bedside table. With a different picture of Stitch on each side, it looks good whichever way it faces on an open shelf or a dresser, and it brings a playful touch to the kitchen cupboard.

The mug is made of ceramic, with the same pastel blue carried through to the handle so the whole piece reads as one soft colour against the striped interior. To keep the prints and stripes looking their best, we suggest washing it by hand in warm soapy water and drying it straight away with a soft tea towel.
