Stick 17W LED Wall Light 80cm - Matte Black

The Stick is an 80cm vertical LED wall light with a matte black aluminium body housing an integrated 17W 3000K LED strip behind an opal silicone diffuser. The fitting measures 9cm wide and projects just 6cm from the wall, giving it a slender profile that emphasises height rather than bulk. Two small directional LED spotlights sit at the top and bottom of the vertical bar, casting light upwards and downwards onto the wall surface while the central diffuser emits forward-facing ambient light.

Designed for hallways, bedroom accent walls, and contemporary living spaces where vertical emphasis is needed, the Stick works as both task and ambient lighting. The 80cm height suits walls with clear vertical space, typically positioned between 1.5-2m from floor level to maintain symmetry with furniture and door frames. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor environments only. The Class 1 electrical rating requires an earth connection during installation.

The matte black finish provides a low-reflectance surface that recedes visually against dark walls and contrasts cleanly against lighter painted surfaces. The opal silicone diffuser softens the LED output to avoid harsh glare while maintaining the 1400 lumen output across the 17W power draw. The combined weight of 0.56kg allows the fitting to be wall-mounted onto plasterboard with appropriate fixings or directly onto masonry with standard screws. Is the Stick dimmable?

The integrated LED is non-dimmable. The 17W output is fixed at 1400 lumens and 3000K warm white. Pairing with a dimmer switch may cause flickering or damage the driver.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the Stick is suitable for dry indoor environments only and must not be installed in bathrooms, wet rooms, or other locations where moisture is present.

What height should it be mounted at?

The 80cm height works best when the centre of the fitting sits between 1.5-2m from floor level. This maintains visual balance with typical door frame heights and avoids the light sitting too high or too low relative to furniture.

What fixings are included?

Wall fixings depend on your wall type. For plasterboard use plasterboard anchors rated for at least 1kg. For masonry use standard wall plugs and screws. The 0.56kg weight is light enough for most standard fixings.
