Starluxe 5 Light Round Suspension - Black

The Starluxe is a 500mm circular suspension light with five GX53 LED fittings mounted on a matt black powder-coated metal ring. Each of the five downward-facing lamps sits evenly spaced around the circumference of the frame, creating a balanced distribution of light beneath the fitting. The 40mm-deep ring frame houses the wiring and lampholder assemblies, with a 2000mm PVC-sheathed cable running from the centre to the ceiling rose.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and open-plan living areas where a single central pendant would not provide sufficient spread, the Starluxe suits rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher. The cable length is adjustable on installation, allowing the ring to be positioned 700-900mm above a dining surface or 600-800mm above a kitchen worktop depending on ceiling height and use. The dimmable LED lamps allow output to be adjusted to suit time of day and task, from full brightness for meal preparation to lower levels for evening dining.

The matt black finish on the powder-coated metal frame provides a low-glare surface that blends into darker ceilings and contrasts cleanly against white or lighter-toned spaces. The circular form gives a centred focal point without the visual weight of a traditional chandelier or multi-arm pendant. At 500mm diameter the fitting suits tables and islands between 1200-1800mm in length, providing adequate coverage without overwhelming smaller rooms. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor locations only.

Are the bulbs included?

What table size does it suit?

The 500mm diameter works well over dining tables and kitchen islands between 1200-1800mm in length. For longer tables over 2000mm, consider two Starluxe fittings spaced evenly, or a larger suspension light with a wider spread.

Can the height be adjusted after installation?

The 2000mm cable is adjustable during fitting by shortening the excess cable inside the ceiling rose. Once installed and the ceiling rose is closed, the height is fixed unless you open the rose again to re-adjust the cable length.

Is it suitable for bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is designed for dry indoor spaces only and does not carry splash protection. Bathrooms require IP44 or higher, depending on zone placement.
