The Starluxe is a 755mm linear pendant with four GX53 LED fittings mounted on a powder-coated black metal bar. Each fitting sits inside a cylindrical housing with a white acrylic diffuser at the base, directing light downwards over kitchen islands, dining tables or worktops. The bar itself measures 40mm high by 85mm deep, giving it a low-profile silhouette that works in rooms with standard 2.4m ceiling heights.

Designed for task lighting over linear surfaces, the four evenly-spaced fittings provide broad coverage across a 1.5-2m table or island without the need for multiple pendant fittings. The 2000mm PVC cable allows the suspension height to be set during installation, typically 700-800mm above a worktop or dining surface. The fixture accepts dimmable GX53 LED bulbs (sold separately), giving control over light intensity from full task brightness to ambient evening light.

The black powder-coated finish sits comfortably in both industrial-styled kitchens with exposed brick or steel and minimalist contemporary spaces with white cabinetry and pale worktops. The fitting takes four GX53 LED bulbs, sold separately. GX53 is a low-profile twist-and-lock fitting commonly used in cabinet and under-shelf lighting. Most retailers stock GX53 LEDs in warm white (2700-3000K) and cool white (4000K) temperatures. Check the wattage limit in the installation guide before purchasing bulbs.

Is the Starluxe dimmable?

Yes, the fixture is rated as dimmable. Dimmer performance depends on pairing compatible dimmable GX53 LED bulbs with a suitable trailing-edge LED dimmer switch. Not all GX53 LEDs dim smoothly, so check bulb specifications before installing on a dimmed circuit.

What suspension height is recommended?

For a kitchen island or dining table, 700-800mm above the surface gives focused task light without the fittings entering the sight line when seated. The 2000mm cable can be shortened during installation if a lower drop is needed for lower ceilings.

Can it be installed in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is not protected against moisture and is suitable only for dry indoor locations. It cannot be installed in bathroom zones or outdoor covered areas.
