Description

The St Martins is a single-light outdoor wall lantern built from a polished nickel-plated brass frame with clear glass panels on all four sides and a stepped pagoda-style roof section. The lantern houses two E27 candle bulbs (sold separately) mounted on a central chrome reflector bracket, with the clear glass allowing full transmission of light in all directions once lit.

Designed for porch entrances, front doors, garage side walls and courtyard perimeter lighting, the St Martins provides both decorative and functional illumination where a traditional lantern profile suits the building architecture. The IP44 rating protects the internal fittings from rain ingress and dust, allowing the lantern to be mounted on fully exposed walls without weather damage. The 80mm projection from the wall keeps the glass clear of adjacent brickwork or render.

IP44. The lantern is protected against solid objects larger than 1mm and water splashing from any direction, making it suitable for exposed exterior walls, porches and covered outdoor areas.

What bulbs does it take?

Two E27 (Edison screw) bulbs up to 60W maximum combined. Bulbs are sold separately. Most installations use LED candle bulbs between 4-6W each at 2700K for a warm white output that suits traditional lantern styling.

Can it be mounted on a rendered or brick wall?

Yes. The 80mm projection from the wall gives clearance for the glass panels and prevents direct contact with the wall surface. The mounting plate fixes to standard UK masonry using appropriate wall plugs and screws (supplied).
