This gold squirrel taper candle holder brings a small woodland character to a mantelpiece, a shelf or a dining table. The squirrel sits upright on a round base with its bushy tail curled up behind it, and in its front paws it holds a bobbled cone that forms the cup for a single taper candle. The whole piece is finished in a rich metallic gold with plenty of texture, from the fine lines of the fur and tail to the hammered edge of the base, so it catches the light whether the candle is lit or not. It is made from resin, also known as polystone, and measures 10.1cm tall, 10.3cm wide and 5.5cm deep.
