Our squat ceramic vase brings a low, rounded profile to the shelf or table, standing just 13cm tall with a generous 18cm width. The wide belly tapers gently towards a smaller opening, giving it a settled, grounded look that works as well on its own as it does holding stems. Formed from ceramic and finished in a soft white, it has a smooth surface that catches the light without gloss overpowering the shape.

The proportions make this one of the more versatile vases in our range, suiting a mantelpiece, a windowsill or the centre of a dining table. Fill it with a loose bunch of seasonal blooms and the short neck helps them fan outwards, or keep things sculptural with a few dried grasses or eucalyptus stems. Left empty, the rounded form holds its own as a quiet piece of ceramic on an open shelf or beside a stack of books. The white finish sits comfortably against wood, stone and painted walls, so it settles into most schemes rather than fighting them.
