Each arm curves and tapers like a winter branch, with the metal hand-hammered to create surface texture and tonal variation across the finish. The frame radiates from a central stem that extends upward into a looped chain hanger and downward into a cluster of spear-like finials beneath the canopy of arms.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and double-height living areas with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the Spyre's 775mm body height suits rooms where the chandelier needs visual weight without overwhelming horizontal space. The adjustable drop ranges from 852mm minimum to 3850mm maximum on installation, allowing the fitting to be positioned 700-900mm above a dining table or centred in a hallway with clearance for head height. The six E14 bulbs (sold separately) are visible as candle flames when lit, so warm-white filament or LED candle bulbs work best to complement the bronze.

The hand-hammered finish on the metallic matte bronze gives each chandelier slight surface variation — no two pieces reflect light identically. What bulbs does the Spyre take?

The chandelier uses six E14 small Edison screw bulbs, each up to 60W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most buyers pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs at 4-6W and 2700K to complement the bronze finish.

What ceiling height is needed?

The minimum drop of 852mm suits ceiling heights of 2.7m and above when positioned over a dining table at 700-800mm clearance. For entrance halls or living areas without furniture beneath, higher ceilings allow the full drop range up to 3850mm to be used.

Is the drop adjustable after installation?

The drop is adjusted during installation by shortening the chain before final wiring. Once installed, the chain cannot be easily re-adjusted without re-accessing the ceiling rose and re-wiring.

Does the hand-hammered finish vary between pieces?

Yes. Each Spyre is hand-forged and hand-hammered, so surface texture and the exact distribution of lighter and darker bronze tones differ slightly between individual chandeliers. This is a characteristic of the artisan production process.
