Description

The Spring Large is a wall light with a hand-blown amber glass shade shaped into a ribbed fan form, mounted on a chrome metal bracket. The shade measures 385mm across its widest point and projects 240mm from the wall, with a single E14 bulb fitting at the base behind the glass. The amber tint in the blown glass warms the light output without shifting colour temperature dramatically.

Designed for living rooms, hallways and dining areas where soft ambient light is needed without the glare of a bare bulb, the Spring Large sits comfortably above sofas, either side of fireplaces, or flanking doorways. The IP20 rating limits it to dry indoor use. The chrome bracket and the ribbed glass pattern give the fitting a traditional-contemporary balance that works in both period and modern interiors.

Each glass shade is hand-blown, so the amber tone and the depth of the ribbing vary slightly between individual pieces. The chrome bracket takes a small back plate that fixes to a standard UK wall box, and the shade slots onto the bracket from below, making bulb changes straightforward. The fitting accepts any standard E14 bulb up to 40W (sold separately), and is dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer and dimmable bulb.
