Designed for kitchen islands, breakfast bars, hallway runs and gallery-style lighting where multiple pendants are suspended in a row, the Split works best at 700-900mm above a worktop or 1800-2000mm above floor level in a hallway. The 336mm minimum drop suits standard 2.4m ceiling heights, while the 2348mm maximum drop accommodates double-height spaces or stairwells. The narrow 65mm diameter means the pendant occupies minimal visual space when suspended in multiples, allowing tight 200-300mm spacing between units without crowding.

The matt white finish absorbs rather than reflects ambient light, keeping the pendant body subdued during the day and allowing the dual light output to define its presence at night. The rim aperture casts a horizontal wash onto adjacent walls or ceiling soffits, adding architectural depth in tight spaces where a standard pendant would only project downward. What bulb does the Split take?

The pendant uses a GU11 socket, which is a bayonet-cap halogen or LED bulb type. GU11 bulbs are less common than GU10 or E27, so check availability before ordering. The bulb is not included.

Is the Split dimmable?

No. The pendant itself is not dimmable. If you require dimming, you would need to pair a dimmable GU11 bulb with a compatible dimmer circuit, but this is not guaranteed to function correctly as the pendant is rated non-dimmable.

How is the drop adjusted?

The cable drop is adjusted during installation by shortening or extending the suspension cable inside the ceiling rose. The range is 336mm minimum to 2348mm maximum, allowing the pendant to suit standard and tall ceiling heights.

Can multiple Splits be installed in a row?

Yes. The narrow 65mm diameter allows tight spacing between units, typically 200-300mm apart, without visual crowding. This makes the Split well-suited to linear runs above kitchen islands or bar counters where multiple pendants are needed.
