Description

The Sphere is a 27-light cluster pendant with polycarbonate globe shades in mixed chrome, copper and satin brass finishes, each housing an integrated CCT LED. The 27 cables descend from an 83cm circular canopy at varying drop lengths between 150-300cm, creating a cascading arrangement of illuminated spheres across a vertical height of up to 220cm when installed at default cable lengths. Each LED is tunable between 3000K warm white and 4000K neutral white via Bluetooth app control, allowing the entire cluster's colour temperature to be adjusted without physical dimmers.

Designed for double-height entrance halls, above dining tables in rooms with 3m+ ceilings, and hotel or restaurant atriums where vertical space allows the full cascade to be appreciated, the Sphere works as both ambient and decorative lighting. The mixed metal finishes create visual depth as the different tones catch and reflect light at different intensities — chrome reads as cool and bright, copper as warm and muted, satin brass as mid-tone. The textured interior surface of each polycarbonate globe refracts the LED light outward, softening the point source into a diffused glow.

The 83cm canopy diameter and 22.96kg total weight require solid ceiling fixing into a joist or noggin — the gravity toggles supplied allow the canopy to self-level once installed. The Bluetooth control is built into the driver unit (included) and can be paired with a Bluetooth gateway for voice control via Amazon Echo or Google Home. The 147.6W total load across 27 LEDs draws approximately 5.5W per globe. Each cable drop is individually adjustable during installation, allowing the cluster to be configured asymmetrically or shortened to suit ceiling heights below 3m.

How is the colour temperature controlled?

The integrated LEDs are tunable between 3000K warm white and 4000K neutral white via a Bluetooth app that pairs directly with the driver unit. No physical dimmer is required. The pendant can also be controlled via voice assistant (Amazon Echo or Google Home) if a Bluetooth gateway is added.

What ceiling height is needed?

The pendant is designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 3m or above to allow the full cascade effect to be appreciated. The cables are individually adjustable between 150-300cm drop, so the cluster can be shortened for lower ceilings, but the visual impact is reduced when compressed below approximately 2.7m total room height.

Can the cable drops be adjusted?

Yes. Each of the 27 cables is individually adjustable during installation, allowing the cluster to be configured asymmetrically or shortened to suit specific ceiling heights and table positions.

What fixing does the canopy require?

The 83cm canopy weighs 22.96kg when fully assembled and must be fixed into a ceiling joist or solid noggin. The gravity toggles supplied allow the canopy to self-level once the fixing screws are secured. Do not fix into plasterboard alone.
