Description

The Sphere is a 27-light cluster pendant built around polycarbonate globes suspended on staggered cables from an 83cm circular chrome canopy. Each globe contains an integrated tunable-white LED that shifts between 3000K warm white and 4000K cool white via a Bluetooth-enabled driver, controlled through a smartphone app or compatible voice assistant (Bluetooth gateway required for smart speakers).

Designed for double-height entrance halls, stairwells and open-plan dining zones with ceiling heights of 3.5m or above, the Sphere creates a vertical column of light spanning 2.2m at its default drop. The suspension cables are individually adjustable from a 150cm minimum to a 500cm maximum drop, allowing the cluster to be tailored to specific ceiling heights and architectural features. The 147.6W total power draw across all 27 globes delivers 10,330 lumens combined output at full intensity.

The globe finishes alternate between polished chrome, brushed copper and satin gold, with the mixed-metal palette visible when the pendant is off and backlit when illuminated. Each polycarbonate globe is textured on the inside to diffuse the LED point source and prevent visible hotspots. The 23.86kg total weight requires a ceiling fixing capable of supporting at least 30kg, and the IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations. The canopy uses gravity-toggle fixings that sit flush to the ceiling once installed.

Yes. The integrated LEDs are dimmable via a Bluetooth-enabled driver controlled through a smartphone app. Voice control via Google Home or Amazon Echo requires an additional Bluetooth gateway device.

What ceiling height is needed for this pendant?

The Sphere is designed for double-height spaces with ceiling heights of 3.5m or above. The cables are adjustable from 150cm to 500cm drop, allowing the pendant to be set appropriately for the specific room height.
