Description

The Spectra is a 200mm cube-shaped outdoor ceiling light built from die-cast aluminium with a white powder-coated finish and an opal plastic diffuser on all four sides and the base. It takes a single E27 bulb (sold separately) housed inside the opal cube, which diffuses light evenly in all directions. The IP44 rating protects against water splashes from any angle, making it suitable for covered outdoor areas such as porches, carports and pergolas.

Designed for flush or semi-flush ceiling mounting in outdoor zones where full weather exposure is limited by a roof or overhang, the Spectra provides ambient light rather than directed task lighting. The 200mm projection from the ceiling and 1130mm cable length allow for installation on standard outdoor ceiling roses or junction boxes. The opal diffuser softens the bulb glow to reduce glare when viewed directly from below, which is common in outdoor seating areas and covered walkways.

The white powder-coated aluminium resists corrosion and UV degradation better than painted steel, maintaining its finish across seasonal temperature swings and humidity. The cube geometry casts light downward and outward in roughly equal measure, so it works both as a functional porch light and as ambient lighting for outdoor dining areas under cover. Pair with a warm-white LED E27 bulb between 6-10W for soft ambient light, or a brighter 12-15W bulb where more functional illumination is needed.
