Description

The Sparx is a 1205mm linear LED pendant light with an integrated 27W 3000K LED mounted inside a matt black extruded aluminium body. The fitting hangs from two steel cables connected to a matching black ceiling canopy, with the LED positioned to emit light downward along the length of the module. The 50mm projection from ceiling to base gives a low-profile installation suited to rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above.

Designed for offices, commercial kitchens, retail counters and workspace zones where continuous linear task lighting is needed, the Sparx works as a standalone module over desks or counters up to 1.2m wide, or can be combined with additional 1205mm or 1805mm modules to create runs of 2.4m, 3.6m or longer. The 2150mm cable length allows the module to be suspended at varying heights depending on whether the application is general ambient lighting or focused task lighting over a worksurface.

The extruded aluminium body acts as both the structural member and the heat sink for the LED, keeping the module weight low while maintaining thermal stability during continuous operation. The matt black powder-coated finish resists fingerprints and pairs with industrial, modern and minimalist interiors. The 3000K colour temperature sits between warm and neutral white, providing enough warmth for comfortable extended working without the amber cast of residential 2700K sources. The LED is rated at 27W with a typical lifespan of 30,000 hours at standard operating conditions.

Can the Sparx be dimmed?

No. The integrated LED is not dimmable. The module outputs a fixed 27W at 3000K when powered on.

Can multiple modules be joined together?

The Sparx is designed as a modular system. Multiple 1205mm modules or a combination of 1205mm and 1805mm modules can be installed in parallel runs to create continuous linear lighting over longer surfaces. Each module requires its own ceiling fixing point and electrical connection.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 2150mm cable length allows the module to be suspended at varying heights. For general ambient lighting in an office the module typically hangs 400-600mm below the ceiling. For task lighting over a desk or counter it can be lowered to 600-900mm above the worksurface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above.

Is it suitable for bathrooms or outdoor use?

No. The IP20 rating means the module is suitable only for dry indoor environments. It should not be installed in bathrooms, wet rooms or any outdoor location.
