Spark LED Pendant Light 7W 3000K - Sand White

The Spark is an 85mm diameter tubular LED pendant in sand white, housing an integrated 7W 3000K LED that delivers 530 lumens through a clear acrylic upper diffuser. The pendant body is a vertical tube approximately 200mm tall, with the top half clear to expose an internal cone-shaped element that acts as both diffuser and visual feature, while the lower half remains in sand white metal.

Designed for kitchen islands, breakfast bars, dining tables and hallways, the Spark works as a single unit over a console or in multiples arranged along a counter. The adjustable cable allows drop heights from 285mm to 1785mm, making it suitable for standard ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher. The clear upper section creates a split visual effect when lit — warm light radiates upward through the transparent cone while the lower tube casts downward illumination.

The sand white finish is a soft off-white with a subtle warm undertone, sitting between pure white and cream. The matte surface reduces glare and pairs with both cool greys and warmer timber tones. At 0.4kg the pendant is lightweight enough to hang from standard UK ceiling roses without additional support. The 7W LED is non-dimmable and rated for 220-240V mains, with a three-year warranty from Mantra.

Is the Spark dimmable?

No. The integrated 7W LED is non-dimmable and runs at full output when switched on. If dimming is required, consider an alternative Mantra fitting with a dimmable LED or a standard bulb socket.

How many pendants are needed for a kitchen island?

At 530 lumens per pendant, most 2m kitchen islands benefit from two Spark pendants spaced 600-800mm apart. Longer islands may require three. The slim 85mm diameter allows closer spacing without visual crowding.

What ceiling height is needed?

The minimum 285mm drop suits ceilings as low as 2.4m when hung over a worktop or table. The maximum 1785mm drop accommodates double-height spaces or stairwells where the pendant can be lowered for visual impact.

Does the clear section affect the light output?

The clear upper diffuser allows warm light to radiate upward onto the ceiling as well as downward through the lower tube. This creates both task light below and ambient ceiling wash, making the fitting brighter in effect than a fully enclosed pendant of the same lumen output.
