The set arrives in two boxes, so some assembly is expected on delivery. Both the rocking chair and the storage footstool typically need their legs or base fitted before use. The Soother is a full-size nursing chair with a separate footstool, so it needs floor space for both pieces plus room to rock. In a smaller nursery you can position the footstool to one side when not in use. Measure your chosen spot against a standard armchair footprint, and allow clearance behind the chair for the rocking motion.
